WHAT IS THE RESCUE OPERATION ➨
➤ Actually the one LPG Gas Tanker Sheep "Gas Yodla" was traveling from Bangladesh to United Arab Emirates through India. Suddenly the Engine was got engaged and the Ship was out of control from the Crew Members.
➤ According to report there were total 17 Crew members in the Sheep in which 8 were Indian and remaining 9 were from UAE. Due to out of control situation this tanker is getting ahead and ahead towards the Mumbai High Fields and that's why India will be a part of this incident. There was a problem raised due to this because if getting strike with any of the Mumbai Fields then we have to face the Loss of many Billion Dollars, and not only financial loss but the commercial loss will also be happened.
WHAT IS MUMBAI HIGH FIELDS ➨
➤ Mumbai High Field is a area near the Mumbai Port and located at 80 to 90 KMs. far from the Mumbai and this is operated by the ONGC. Well this is one of the biggest oil field of India.
➤ Mumbai Oil Fields was discovered in 1956 and the Exploration Work was Begun in 1974. Well there were 10% of total consumption oil was came from here in every year which shows that it is a big Oil Assets for India. It has a high Billioner Worth in a year.
➤ This High Fields came on risk when the Tanker Ship Gas Yodla got out of control and moving ahead towards the Mumbai High Field. If it getting Strike than we got a financial loss of multi Billion Dollars and the Commercial loss were addition.
➤ This Ship was came very close to one of the Mumbai High Fields which is D1 High Fields and that's the distance was 20 Nautical Miles that nearly about 37 KMs. That's why the ONGC officers have carried out one Emergency basis operation with the Indian Costal Guards and rescue this ship.
➤ In this joint operation ONGC off shore supply vessel, Sagar Pride, CMEC 3 and Tuck Boat SAROJA Blessings had taken part in rescue operation. Also the Off shore Defense Advisory Committee vessels PR Nayak and Indian Naval Sheep Sankalp had also taken a part in this operation.
➤ These all shows that India had carried out this operation on very large scale and in which 5 to6 major ships of India had taken part. This Indian Coastal Guards had taken the control of this ship in their hands and rescue the Ship.
➤ The Crew members of Indian had taken the Repair Work on the ship and then started the Emergency Generator and after that ONGC Vessel Sagar Pride toe the Ship and rescue it.
