➤ At the same time, Tata has also decided to come out from the
Russia with its Jaguar and Land Rover. Also, Tata Consultancy service, which is
the biggest IT sector in Russia, also decided to come out from the Russia. Well,
up to this point it is better but Tata also announced that table don’t purchase
any coal from the Russia for their Tata Steel plants. That clearly means that TATA
will not put any further order of coal in Russia.
➤ TATA had taken this decision under the pressure of Western
countries. Actually TATA have big revenue from the Western countries or if Tata
will not take this decision then there is a chance to have for some further notification
and quarter inquiry on TATA. TATA can not avoid this because the TATA has only
or most of this revenue is generated from the whole Western countries. If we
compare it with this Russia than the Russian revenue is very less compared to
Western countries.
➤ We noted during Russia Ukraine war that sentiments, which is
against Russia in Western countries. TATA doesn’t want to point out in western
countries by putting their services in Russia. At that TATA had taken the
Business oriented decision and stopped their all services in the Russia but as
I told you in the starting that It is known that if the risk is big then the reward is also going
to be as big as the risk.
➤ Actually
we all know that after boycott of Russian crude oil the price hits to all time
high and it is happening in the same way with the coal. But with that Russia
had offered a 30% discount on Russian Coal after dealing with Russian Coal
Boycott.
➤ After
getting these huge discount from Russia many Indian Steel companies are buying coal
from Russia so that they can offer a steel with competitive price in the Market
against the TATA steel. So now TATA have do something.
➤ For
your reference you have screen shot from THE TIMES OF INDIA that after dealing
with the ties of Russia TATA had decided to purchase a coal from the Russia.
TATA had announce that the from the month of April onwards TATA will not
purchase a coal from Russia for their Britain and Netherland’s plant and TATA
had already identified for their alternatives.
➤ But
according to reports TATA had already purchased 75,000 tons coal from Russia. According
to reports Russia had delivered 42,500 tons coal in Odisha and 32,500 tons in West
Bengal. In both of these states TATA has 4 steel plants and it seems that these
decision is taken based on the discount offered by the Russia.
