The meetings take place B/W two countries with 2 important ministries of their respective countries is called 2+2 Meeting. In this meeting the 2 ministries which are involves are as follows...

The relationship between India and Russia is came on backfoot as the relation is going quite complicated for several reasons like.....
1.) Due to Indo pacific policies of India.

3.) Due to cancelation of Annual Summit Conference Between Russia and India which was constantly taking under from last 20 years.
➥ This Annual Summit Conference was taking place alternatively in both countries like a gap of 1 1 years. But due to pandemic situation in last year India has cancelled this Summit as it was going to be conducted in India. However PM Modi and Vladmir Putin has option to do this summit by Online mode as all other ministers are doing.
take any meetings with Russian Foreign minister just because perhaps the Indian side has informed by them that Russian Foreign minister is going to announce a news that Russia is agreed to sign weapons deal with Pakistan.
➥ But now the breaking news had came from India Today or Times Now that Russia had offered the Annual Bilatral Summit with India and Now India has accept this offer and this news quite create a new way of relation between both countries.
➥ This 2+2 meetings has involved the FOREIGN MINISTERS AS WELL AS DIFENCE MINISTER of both countries and this is very important meetings by strategic Level.
➥ Till now India is hosting these meetings only with quid align countries which are JAPAN, AMERICA & AUSTRALIA.

➥ India was conducting these meetings with Australia only on Ministry level but now this

➥ The offer of 2+2 meeting 1st come from Russia in month of April and then PM Modi and Vladmir Putin had carried 1 phone call and finalize to do as per suggestions.
➥ According to reports during this week Indian Foreign Minister S.Jayshankar sir visit the Russia to finalize the dates of 2+2 meetings. However Place for that either India or Russia would be selected in this Meeting.
